Dr. Jane Timmons-Mitchell currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and is a licensed clinical child psychologist with 40 years of experience in her career in the field of academic medicine, having reached the title of Associate Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry. In 2000, she established Junction Psychological Services Corporation in order to allow for clinical care of children and their families.
A prolific author and blogger at Psychology Today, Dr. Timmons-Mitchell has established herself as a leader in the field, securing many federal, state, and foundation grants to support youth mental health initiatives. Her domain of expertise includes suicide prevention, bullying, juvenile justice, and trauma resilience. In addition to her professional activities, she has served as a reviewer for numerous academic journals and funding agencies in the course of her long-lasting career as a member of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus for 35 years.
