Dr. Stephanie Bryant

About

Dr. Stephanie Bryant is the Executive Vice President and Chief Accreditation Officer for the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). In this role, she develops the global strategic vision for the organization. She also manages AACSB’s accreditation services worldwide. Notably, Dr. Bryant successfully led the implementation of both the 2018 Accounting Accreditation Standards and the 2020 Business Accreditation Standards.

Before joining AACSB in 2017, Dr. Bryant built a distinguished career in academic administration. She previously served as the Dean of the College of Business at Missouri State University. Under her leadership, enrollment grew from 3,500 students to over 5,500. This massive growth created one of the largest public business schools in the Midwest. Before this, she directed the School of Accountancy at the University of South Florida, where she managed undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs.

As a leading specialist, Dr. Bryant focuses on information technology security and control. Her extensive research profile includes co-authoring two textbooks and publishing more than 30 academic articles. Furthermore, she remains deeply involved in the academic community. She holds both a BS and a PhD in Accounting from Louisiana State University and maintains active memberships in Beta Alpha Psi and the American Accounting Association.
