Dr. Jason Del Gandio is a Professor of Instruction at Temple University. He is a leading expert in social justice, activism, and social movements. His work draws on critical theory, political philosophy, and performance studies. Specifically, he examines how communication shapes thought and action.

Dr. Del Gandio has spent 30 years researching vibes. Today, he is a pioneer in the study of collective energy. In his dissertation, he introduced “bodily emanation,” his original philosophy of the vibe. He also created 20MinuteVibe. This digital platform provides video lectures and essays to help people analyze atmosphere and space.

An award-winning teacher, Dr. Del Gandio features regularly in public discourse. Media outlets like The New York Times and The Philadelphia Inquirer have highlighted his work. He also appears on various TV, radio, and podcast programs. As a prolific author, he covers civil disobedience, spontaneous revolts, pop culture, and animal rights. He will release his upcoming book, Vibe-Talk: How and Why We Communicate about Vibes, later this year.
