About Dr. Eli Joseph
Dr. Eli Joseph is an engineer, inventor, statistician, academic, futurist, author, and coach. He is credited with inventing the extended reality (XR) book system. He is the President, Chief Executive Officer, and co-host of The Academic Boardroom. In addition to serving as an associate faculty member at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies, Joseph serves as a faculty member at New York University, UCLA, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Dartmouth College. He is also a partner at ExamOne, a Quest Diagnostics company.
Dr. Joseph’s research topic is in the fields of behavioral finance, data analytics, statistics, and quantitative finance. Nicknamed “The Messenger,” Joseph has authored several papers and articles, which have been featured in prominent publications such as Fortune Magazine, Times Higher Education, Inc. Magazine, AdWeek, Business Insider, The Enterprisers Project, and Harvard Business Review. He is the author of the book The Perfect Rejection Resume: A Reader’s Guide to Building a Career Through Failure.
Joseph is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Intelligence Network, TED, and the Grammy Recording Academy. He is also a licensed USA Basketball coach.
